snowchild (2024)
I played with stock footage to experiment with overlays, rotoscoping, color grading and lens distortion. This is my favorite so far, and I believe it most speaks to my eye for aesthetic.
Too far close (2023)
Similarly, I used stock footage to experiment with more romantic colors and effects. I also utilized rotoscoping in some hard to notice ways.
3AM (2023)
Here, I used footage entirely filmed by myself while at Shirley Chisholm Park, which is host to some beautiful hills and more hills.
Astrothunder (2020)
This was my first edit on an Adobe platform. After being accepted into Emerson College for film, I felt I should experiment with the tools I might use. I couldn’t afford to attend, but working on this visualizer helped me discover my style.
Other Vids (2016 - Present)
gaming as a creative source
The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass was the first video game that I had ever played. Instantly, I found myself captivated by the distinct visuals, characters and creative storytelling. These are things that drive my creative outlook to this day.
Recently, I had decided that I could do better at representing that inspiration in my work, so I issued myself a challenge:
"For every game that I complete (and enjoy), I'll dedicate a video to it."
